Vanessa is an intern pastoral counselor. She is obtaining her Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling this spring from Biola University. She works primarily with women of all ages who are navigating their lives and also helping them see what God is doing through their situation as well. She primarily operates out of Long Beach, CA. Before moving to SoCal in 2023, she lived in Phoenix, Arizona. During the week she is a worship leader at her local church. 

Growing up in church, she always was encountering people who were facing difficult times. In order to better serve the community she was surrounded with, she pursued education to be able to assist those who were struggling . Being familiar with a lot of mental health struggles in close friends and family, she feels called to show others their identity in Christ and to walk firmly in it. There are a lot of distractions and labels in society, so she is convicted to show people the truth of who God says they are.
